You don’t have your own equipment, you would like to economize costs for sport luggage, you forgot something or you just want to try something new? Our team has the right equipment for you. In our rental shop there are boards, kites, harnesses, neoprene, helmets, safety vests etc. Our assortment with more than 50 boards and more than 120 kites includes top of the notch equipment from Core, Carved and goodboards: small and big boards, foil boards and kites in a range from 5m² and 15m². Strong or light wind, we have the right set-up for you. By the way: if you like the equipment you are using, you can also purchase it. We will be pleased to prepare an offer for you.
To rent equipment with us you have to be either licensed VDWS level 4 or IKO level 3. Furthermore, we recommend an insurance package, with this package your material is covered for damages.
To rent a foil board you have to be either licensed VDWS level 5 or IKO level 3N. You have to perfectly master your foil board and be able to navigate in both directions in a controlled manner. You need to be able to reduce and regulate your speed with the foil board and safely ride upwind and downwind.
Somabay is a private peninsula. Therefore the KiteHouse and the kite beach are for the exclusive use of our guests. Within this top infrastructure guests benefit from various features such as rescue service and practical storage facilities. The area next to the storage room offers for your kites the perfect place in the shade during your break time. Also you are going to benefit from a shadowy place when you inflate – just some steps away from the beach – your kites with one of our compressor. No wind? No worries! We usually enjoy great wind conditions year-round, but every now and then, the breeze takes a break. That doesn’t mean the fun has to stop! Try wakesurfing or wakeboarding behind our powerful speedboat, join a game of beach volleyball, test your balance on the slackline, squeeze in a beach workout with TRX and battle ropes, or just kick back and enjoy the laid-back beach vibes.
Windless means: perfect conditions and mirror like water for wake boarding and wake surfing. For wake surfing, our speedboat is creating the perfect wave and your surfsession at the Red Sea can start! Hangloose.

For your breaks or for a complete chill day, there are parasols, sun beds and toppers at your disposal. Either you enjoy the relaxing area in front of the KiteHouse or for more privacy use one of the beach cabanas.
