African Continental Kite Course Racing Championship

The African Continental Course Racing taking place in Soma Bay this March is expected to be one of the world’s largest kite surfing championships.

Open to riders from all over the globe and offering local competitors an incredible opportunity to show their talent and ability to the world the event will take place here in Soma Bay at the 7Bft KiteHouse from 24 – 29 of March 2013.

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to cheer on some of the fastest kite surfers worldwide with board speeds of almost 50 km/h and awe at the spectacular jumps. Enjoy the adrenaline rush or relax on the beach during this spectator-friendly event.

This holiday is specifically designed to develop your kitesurfing and geared solely around helping you to achieve your goals. There is a high level of 1:1 coaching and a maximum of 6 students available in the group. Like this, Jo can ensure a personal touch. If you want to be pushed hard or encouraged gently Jo adapts her style of coaching to what is right for you.

Therefore, Jo has organized a coaching event at 7Bft KiteHouse Soma Bay from June 3 till July 1, 2013

The Kitecity VDWS licensed trainers are highly welcome to the 7Bft KiteHouse Soma Bay in March where they perform one of the most effective events all over the world lasting for 4 consecutive weeks at the KiteHouse Soma Bay.

The high qualified trainers are running 3 events at 7Bft KiteHouse in 2013:

Kitemania Events 2013!

In 2013, we warmly welcome back TEAM Waterworld with its Kitemania tour at the 7Bft Kite House in Soma Bay. Highly qualified Kitesurf Instructors will conduct a week of kitesurfing expertise to guests.

It’s all about you, the kite, the water and the people.
The coaches know the area around Soma Bay and are thus exactly the perfect travel companion.

Soma Bay, November 2011 – The Soma Bay house reef directly in front of Egypt’s first water-lifestyle hotel, The Breakers Diving & Surfing Lodge on the Red Sea, was voted the best house reef in the world according to the German diving magazine “Tauchen”. The Soma Bay house reef according to “Tauchen” offers “great stone coral and species-rich fish.”
